Making green spaces more accessible for FLINTA*, BIPoC and queer communities

Usually cities' urban policies are reflecting a gender-neutral or “gender-blind” approach to the planning of public spaces - which is presented as a design for all. While these policies, in reality, neglect the needs of FLINTA* people in public spaces. We as a collective have decided to focus our efforts on researching what these needs are.

We use an intersectional feminist approach therefore we advocate for equal access to green public spaces for queer, BIPoC and migrant communities. We believe it is important to ask challenging questions and explore alternative visions of public spaces where we no longer have to fear for our lives or fight for our right to be there.
